Crockpot Barbecued Ribs

These tastey ribs are easy to make and will have your guests coming back for more.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs lean country style pork ribs, trimmed of any excess fat
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup ketsup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp A-1 steak sauce
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 1 tsp prepared spicy mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings

Method
Brown ribs in skillet over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, combine ketsup, brown sugar, steak sauce, celery seed, mustard, salt and vinegar in small bowl then set aside. Place half of ribs in a crockpot. Layer half of onion and sauce over ribs. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours, or on high, 3-4 hours until meat is tender. Reduce heat to low for serving.
Notes: May also use a Dutch oven.
