This new and spicy dish combines steak chicken broth, and green chiles for a great dinner.
Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic, cook for a few minutes then add meat. Season with salt and pepper, cook until meat is browned.
When meat is browned, add chicken broth, 1/2 lime juice, green onion, chiles, oregano, and salsa.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Transfer to crockpot and simmer for at least 3 hours. 30 minutes before serving, add remainder of lime juice and chopped cilantro.
Notes:
Serve over white rice.
