Layer your pork chops in the crock pot and top with the special sauce. Top everything off with perfectly prepared spaetzle and let the meal cook.

  • Servings: 6

10.5 oz box Spaetzle, a german dumpling, usually found in your grocers dry goods or international section
6 Pork Chops
24 oz bottle Ketchup
10 oz bottle Creamy Horseradish

Bring a medium saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil. Add spaetzle and boil for 15 minutes and drain. The noodles will not be completely done. This is intentional to avoid them becoming mushy during subsequent cooking.

In a crock pot, stack the pork chops, then cover them with the ketchup and horseradish. Top it all off with the spaetzle. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 3 hours and then on low for 2-4 hours. Stir to distribute the sauce over the dumplings. The pork should fall from the bone.
