A hearty main dish of pork tenderloin, sauerkraut and apples. Make it in the crock-pot and come home to a hot ready-to-eat dinner.
In large pot heat butter, onions and bacon until light brown. Slowly whisk in flour until thick, adding water slowly to create a gravy texture. Add sauerkraut and shredded apples and heat on medium. Brown pork loins in a pan then add to other ingredients and cook on low for about 4 hours. Serve over mashed potatoes.
Notes:
This can also be done in a crock-pot for all the working moms--when you get home a delicious home cooked meal awaits.
