  • 1 can Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Method

Place trimmed pork in a Crock-Pot/slow cooker. In a bowl, mix together the soup, water, brown sugar and soy sauce. Pour over pork. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 8 to 9 hours. About 1 hour before you want to serve the dish, core and slice the apples (1/4-inch thick slices); drop into a zippy bag with the granulated sugar and cinnamon; shake until well coated. Dump the apples, cinnamon and sugar on top of the pork; replace lid and continue to cook on low for approx. 45 more minutes. To serve, remove apples to a serving dish, then remove the pork. Spoon sauce over meat and rice or noodles.

Notes: This is a great slow-cooker meal for a busy family. Kids love this because of the apples and cinnamon.

Number of Servings: 4 - 6 depending on serving size
