Do you cook as long in the crock pot as your recipes say?
I like my old crock pot better but you have to wash the whole thing, the body does not come off of the bottom heating element and it is heavier....I think next time I will use the old one and see if that helps ...I agree the newer one seems to cook hotter but I only put it high to heat it up for an hour or less...If I cooked all day on high it would burn or stick to the bottom.....Sherry8.jpg)

Noodles in the slow cooker ????
Like my taco soup..You can put noodle in..When i make that taco soup i combine everthing in the pot..Then add some water for the noodles they will dry out or stick to the crockpot.And stir a few times they will not lumpy.In a few hours turn it down on medium.keep your eye on it and stir it.from teddie...p.s.i hope this helps..

this one recipe it is so easy..Slice some onion,one green pepper slice thin,one can of cream of mushroom,1/2 C. water...Then you are done.Turn it on high...you are done..from teddie....

Pork Roast
I think I'm going to do one of these this weekend and I had a recipe that called for orange rinds. I haven't used these before and I was wondering if anyone has. If so, did it make the pork taste "citrusy" or have that orange bite to it? Thanks!
