
This pasta sauce, made with Italian sausage, mushrooms plum tomatoes, tomato paste & herbs, served over shell macaroni and parmesan cheese.
Cook and drain sausage. Combine all ingredients in crock pot except for the parmesan cheese. Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours; stir in 1/2 cup of the parmesan cheese for the last hour of cooking. Serve over pasta shells, sprinkling with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese for garnish.
Notes:
The longer this cooks the better it gets.
