Michelle's Ribs

This ribs have a savory sauce and will fall off the bone when you cook them in all day in the crockpot.
 

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds ribs, beef or pork
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 diced onions
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1-1/2 cups canned tomatoes
  • 1-1/2 cups celery, diced
  • 1-1/2 cups ketchup
  • 2-1/2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 to 5 dashes tabasco
  • 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 3 cups beef bouillon
  • Salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup fresh chopped parsley
  • 2 cups baby carrots

Method

Rub ribs with garlic clove and place in crock pot. Add enough water or chicken broth to cover ribs and cook slowly for 4 to 5 hours until meat falls off bone. In sauce pan, cook onions in butter until golden brown. Add all remaining ingredients except ribs and garlic and simmer one hour. Place rib in baking pan and cover with sauce. Place lid on pan and bake covered for 45 minutes in preheated oven at 325 degrees. Reserve some sauce for serving at table.
