Savory Rosemary Lemon Chicken

Lemon and fresh rosemary flavor this slow-cooked chicken. Serve with hot cooked rice.
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut up (about 3-4 lbs)
- 4 C chicken broth (canned or fresh)
- 2 T chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 lemon, cut into 1/2 " slices
- 1/2 C finely chopped onion
- 1/2 C finely chopped celery
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 t salt
- 1/8 t ground white pepper

Method
Wash chicken and place in slow cooker. Combine & add the rest of the ingredients. Cook on high for 4-5 hours. Remove chicken and lemons. Use broth to make gravy, if desired.
