This simple dish is prepared in the crock pot and is a sure way to change up dinner. The sauce is made of cranberry sauce, onion soup mix and tapioca.

  • Servings: 4


2½ - 3 lb Chicken Thighs or Drumsticks
1× 16 oz can Whole Cranberry Sauce
2 Tbsp Dry Onion Soup Mix
2 Tbsp Quick Tapioca
½ cup Chopped Toasted Almonds


Put chicken in crock pot. Mix together cranberry sauce, onion soup mix and tapioca and pour over chicken. Cook 5 to 6 hours on low or 2-1/2 to 3 hours on high. If sauce is too liquid, remover cover and cook on high for the last 20 minutes. Add almonds before serving.

Serve with Rice.
