|2 pkg||Chicken Gizzards & Hearts, no livers|
|1||Medium Onion, chopped|
|1 tsp||Black Pepper|
|2 cups||Uncooked Rice, not instant|
|4 cups||Beef Broth|
Add gizzards and hearts, onion, pepper, and salt to slow cooker, Add enough water to cover. Heat on low for 6-8 hours. Cook rice according to directions on package, using the beef broth instead of water. No need to add salt to rice.
When gizzards are soft, use a slotted spoon to remove gizzards, hearts, and onions to a food processor. Process until small to medium chunks. Return to broth. Add cooked rice to gizzard mixture, stir and serve warm.
