Taco Stew


This stew is full of beef, beans, and spicy tomatoes. Use canned fried onions for a topper.



Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. beef stew meat
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (11oz) Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes w/ green chilies (undrained)
  • 1 cup water or beer
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 1 tbsp. bacon bits
  • French's french fried onions

Method

Place stew beef and black beans in a slow cooker. In a separate bowl stir together next five ingredients (soup through bacon bits) and place in slow cooker. Cook on low 9-10 hours. Serve topped with French fried onions.
