Ultimate Slow Cooker Lasagna

Noodles and a beefy Italian sauce combine for this lasagna-like dish. Purchased sauce makes it easy.
Ingredients
- 1 16oz package medium egg noodles
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 chopped white onion
- 1 4 oz can sliced black olives, drained
- 1 chopped green sweet pepper
- 1 1/2 cups fresh sliced mushrooms
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 1 1/2 jars (15 oz) pasta sauce (your choice of flavor)
- 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
- 1 cup grated Parmesean cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Method
Cook noodles as directed; drain and set aside. Brown ground beef in a large skillet and drain off fat. Add onion, olives, sweet pepper, mushrooms, garlic, and Italian seasoning to skillet with beef and cook for 10 mins. Lightly coat the lining of slow cooker with nonstick spray. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker for 1 hour on high-heat setting or until hot. Serve with garlic toast.
Notes: Any type of noodle can be used and you can adjust the ingredients to your preferences. This can be prepared the evening before and warmed the following day. Enjoy!
